The Inception: A Teacher's Vision
The year was 1945, a time of rebuilding and renewal across the world, when Gaby Delaloye, an educator by profession, laid the foundation for what would become a beacon of viticultural excellence in Valais. "Rives du Bisse" began as a humble endeavor by a man whose roots were as deep in education as they would soon be in viniculture.
Embracing the Vine
By 1960, the venture into viticulture had flourished beyond Gaby's initial expectations. His dedication to the craft led him to leave his teaching career, focusing solely on nurturing his burgeoning wine business. The legacy of Gaby was soon to be inherited and enriched by subsequent generations.
